UBASA strives to develop a strong foundation for baseball and softball by investing in grassroots programs, coaching, infrastructure, and international collaborations to elevate Uganda’s standing in the global baseball and softball community.
UBASA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, development, and expansion of baseball and softball across Uganda.
To create opportunities for young athletes and communities to engage in the sport while fostering teamwork, discipline, and excellence.
⚾ Our Programs & Activities
Youth Development (Grassroots Training & Schools Program)
UBASA introduces baseball and softball to young athletes through grassroots training and school-based programs. By providing coaching, equipment, and structured competitions, we develop foundational skills, teamwork, and discipline, ensuring the sport’s growth at the grassroots level and nurturing Uganda’s future baseball and softball champions.
Coaching & Training Camps
We organize specialized coaching and training camps to enhance player development. Led by experienced local and international coaches, these camps focus on improving skills, game strategy, and fitness. They provide a platform for young athletes to refine their abilities and prepare for competitive baseball and softball tournaments.
Tournaments & Leagues (National & International Participation)
UBASA hosts and participates in national and international baseball and softball tournaments. Our leagues provide competitive opportunities for players of all skill levels, fostering growth and exposure.
Competing at international levels strengthens Uganda’s presence in global baseball and helps players gain recognition for scholarships and professional opportunities.
Community Engagement & Outreach
We use baseball and softball to inspire and empower communities. Through outreach programs, we provide underprivileged youth with access to sports, mentorship, and life skills. Our initiatives promote social inclusion, teamwork, and leadership, ensuring that baseball and softball positively impact lives beyond the field.
